Zero-emission cleaning
The central focus of the project is emission measurements in the European reference room of the Sentinel Haus Institute. This unique test setup enables products, building systems, and cleaning processes to be examined under practical conditions in accordance with standards and with scientific precision.
Our part was the cleaning of a carpet (Smoozy 1612 from Object Carpet), which was installed with the WULFF adhesive system (2K DP-Grund and HV9).
Zero-emission cleaning scientifically proven
Before and after cleaning, air quality was measured using VOC measurement by the renowned eco-Institut (where the reference room is located) according to current standards (VOC = volatile organic compounds).
The result: below detection limit!
"The measurements showed no adverse effect of the carpet intensive cleaning on indoor air quality, even when measured 1 hour after completion of work," states the test report.
Immediate HEALTHY walkability
The room can be used again immediately. The only difference: The carpet is beautiful and clean again. The measurements in the European reference room for TEP-TOP-Clean® carpet cleaning are at zero micrograms TVOC per cubic meter of indoor air (µg/m³). The strict limit value of the Sentinel Haus Institute is 300 µg/m³.
